Juventus have shifted their transfer focus onto Giuseppe Rossi as their priority signing this summer after talks forAtletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero broke down.Juventus were rebuked by Atletico Madrid in their pursuit of the Argentinian.
"They offered €35 million [£30.8m], but the Spanish were holding out for €45m [£39.6m], and so they couldn't convince them as Atletico did not want to lower the fee after speaking with [Juventus sporting director Giuseppe] Marotta."
Given that Atletico are not willing to give any discounts on the €45m clause, Juventus are now focused on Rossi.
Pastorello and Marotta are very good friends and they have worked closely in the past, so this favours Rossi.
"Juventus are willing to offer Villarreal up to €30m [£26.4m] for Rossi and they are ready to pay him around €6m [£5.3m] per annum in wages."
Will Juventus be successful this time around in their second foray into the Spanish transfer market, only the future will tell.
