The Luka Modric saga has taken a turn today with the Croatian star insisting he wishes to go to Chelsea. The Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy, had categorically ruled out any transfer of Modric. With interest from Chelsea not dying out like Manchester united's short lived courtship, Levy looks to be fighting a lost battle.
Having rejected a £22 million from Stamford bridge already, it remains to be seen if Chelsea are ready to test Tottenham's resolve with a higher bid especially now that the Croat has made his desire public.
